On May 2 there will be a TA and Firebird show at Summit Racing in McDonough, GA. Over 75 Awards and 12 Classes. Last year at our first show we had 61 cars and I suspect that number will grow this year........so if you happen to be in the area come on by.

a friend of mine went last year in his blue third gen and won his class or something ..Terry Blanton is his name .. i'm sure he'll be there this year

Tnxs all...was contacted by High Performace Pontiac who indicated they plan to attend. They said they had heard from several folks that the show was pretty good....which makes me feel pretty good

Well, everything is a go. I picked up over 80 awards a couple of weeks ago. I'm having 125 window sticker decals made that have the show logo and the words "Its a Firebird Thing" completed this week. The decals, ala Cruisin'n the coast or the Hot Rod Power tour will be given to the first 100 participants. I decided to go with a decal vs dash plaques.

Last month, by popular demand, I had some show T-Shirts made which will be on sale at the show for $15 each.

Last year we had 61 cars for our first show. This year I don't know the numbers of participants, but I can tell you our preregistrations doubled. If the weather is good, I suspect we will have a good chance of breaking last years number.

Weather looks good...Partly Cloudy and only 10-20% chance of rain...hope to see you there! Were expecting somewhere between 70-80 Firebirds and TA's of all Gens!
