Great show, as LuAnn posted for us earlier, we had a blast and will return for G15.
Now for the rest of the story. After leaving the motel Monday, I got stuck in a left side exit ramp. Seeing a sign that said I-20 I jumped into that lane and saw the POS sign. Car pool lane or whatever. As soon as I could get out of that lane we did but not before passing a GHP Charger sitting in the runoff lane. He proceded to pass LuAnn, by herself in the same lane and pulled me over. I believe he wanted to see if I would run his Charger. I pulled over and told him what happened and that I was not from there and was not familiar with these lanes or highways. He went back to his car and I thought he would give me a warning after checking my registration and license. But no he gave me a ticket. I politely thanked him for informing me about the dangerous thing I had done and told him I was glad no one got hurt by my dangerous action on such a busy traffic day. He instructed me to get a little speed up before merging into traffic and I told him that was no problem. I have watched how traffic works in ATL cutting two three or even four lanes at a time. So as soon as I saw 18 feet between two cars, anyhow there is two black marks where I was pulled. We got out of GA as quick as possible.
Tuesday, bummed about being at work, working on a Dodge Caravan, and some other turd, but remembering all the nice cars and great people at G15, I just kept smiling and working. Then one of the bosses came to me and told me that the WS6 that belongs to one of the service techs had been ran into over the weekend. He had seen my car and requested that I fix his. Boost the ego! Work is kind of slow so anything that hits my stalls helps. After work I was checking out all of my pics from G14 and went to copy them to my puter. They disappeared from the card and puter. Bummed again but I still have memories and all the great pics on the boards. Thanks
Now I have my sights set on the f-body beach bash here in Myrtle Beach. Look forward to seeing all of you there.
BTW still haven't figured my MPG but I stopped for gas 8 times in 4 days.
