New to the boards so figured I'd make a topic. Me and my dad went to g13 and had a blast so this year is a definite for us.
Taking my 1998 Camaro again this year. Last year it sat at the top it had the clearcoat peeling off the front bumper, paint's good so just gonna reclear it, hoping to get that done before the show. That's the only thing wrong with the car, other than the lack of an LS1, haha. It's somewhat of an uncommon car tho, v6 with ls1 brakes and Ceyanne Red Metallic.

The Gathering is about fun and bringing what you got. The judging is such a small part of the whole experience, there are so many LS1's, I enjoy seeing a 3800.

Welcome back. I will look for your car and your recent improvements to it. This is also our 2nd year. Can't wait for G-14!
Thanks guys. Yeah g13 was really fun. It's one of the shows on my to-do list. It's a must for any F-body guy. I don't care much about the judging and car show portion, though it is cool to get an award. I can't wait til g14. I just enjoy seeing everybody's cars.
I'd love to see some more third and second gens though. Nothing against 4th and 1st gens but I like some diversity lol.
I also have an 84 Z28 that's getting completely rebuilt. I'd love to bring it down. But that will have to wait til next year. It's only now about to receive a motor and tranny
It still needs a LOT of work.

Wait... this is actually organized as a car show?!?!! I thought Andy just threw a big party every year, and car shows kept breaking out...
Well got some bad news
My car was hit this Thursday night. Didn't see anybody behind me when I went to switch from the right to the left lane and sure enough there was. Some woman driving an S10 Blazer talking on her phone, didn't hit her brakes in time and tried to move into the right lane as she saw me, but was going to fast. Still my fault for not seeing her but it could have been prevented if she used her brakes and logic.
Anyways, there is extensive quarter panel damage, big hole in my door and scraps along the whole side. New quarter and door are needed, fender looks like it might be alright. I don't know if the car will make an appearance this year, but as of now, we are still going.
I'm extremely bummed cause that car was my baby. But at least no one was hurt.
This is why there should be a law against driving FBodys within 2 months of Gathering! Chin up, get it fixed, Bring it to G15...
