So I went up to Concord, North Carolina this past weekend for the Inaugural 4 Wide Nationals. I was there Saturday and Sunday and had an absolute blast. I have been to NHRA races at Las Vegas, Englishtown NJ, Gainesville FL, and finally Concord NC. Other than Vegas, this was by far my favorite track. The facility was nice and spread out – you didn’t feel like sardines like you do at Gainesville. It also had CLEAN rest rooms, vendor midway (usually theres garbage flying around everywhere), and grand stands. Saturday we were in the grandstands about half way up, right at the 300’ mark. Sunday we were in a suite.

Pictures from Sunday! We started off the day at the NHRA Race Day stage trailer and watched the filming of it live. Then I got pictures with Dave Reiff, Mike Dunn, Paul Page, and Tim Wilkerson. Then we went on to the suite to watch a day of racing! The pictures are in order so the “quads” you see of cars ARE in order of eliminations.

But even closer, and even better, was this house! Those are 20’ garage doors to park an RV in…this is my kind of house – nice and right next to the race track!

Nah, there were no stairwells to conceal it in.

I have been to all the same track you have and I must say I also agree it is the nicest.
Even ran my bird there one night. I go to the Gators ever year and twice a year in Charlotte
