Who here is tired of getting their cars clean, just to drive them to the show and have to clean everything again? Most of the time, people just quick detail their cars.....which in some cases can do more harm to the paint than good. I have found a car wash that requires absolutely no rinsing at all. It is called Optimum No Rinse. You pour 1 oz. of solution into 1 gallon of water, and thats all you need. It doesn't sud up, just looks like normal water. It has oils in it that get under the dirt and makes it nearly 100% scratch/swirl free on your paint. Now, obviously if you have leaves, big pieces or grime, etc....you need to get that off prior to washing. Simply wipe on with wash mitt, then dry. Do one panel at a time. You can do windows, wheels, even tires, all your plastics...all vehicle surfaces. All you need is...

-2 buckets (one for wash, one with water and a grit guard...although grit guard isnt neccessary)
-grout sponge from home depot (these things are the best i have found for washing cars....scratch free, easy to clean out, and they rinse very well)
-3 to 5 microfiber towels for drying.

You can wash your car in less than 30 minutes, leave no water runoff, puddles, get other cars around it wet, etc. This is perfect incase ATL is in a drought next year and we dont have access to their car washing facilities. Heck....even if water was plentiful and it was easy to get to their facilites, this stuff is far superior than washing with a hose and traditional car washes. It is widely used by member on Autopia.org....whose member base includes the best and most knowledgable detailers in the world.

i know i always see tazman and his crew massaging their cars probably more than they do their women...lol.....i thought yall may enjoy learning about this fairly new product.
Seeing that we are at a 17in surplus this year hopefully cobb county will finally lift the water restrictions and we can have a car washing facility at the hotel. I like the product you have mentioned though. After a while the quick detailer builds up and streaks. I've noticed it on my car and it is beige.
there is time to QD and a time to wash.....that area is somewhat gray. QD'ing a car thats too dirt will swirl the paint up terrible, esp those darker colors. even if they do lift the water restrictions....this method of cleaning is MUCH easier and faster than traditional rinsing off suds. ill never go back to the old way. heck, you can wash your car in your garage with this stuff....seriously!
Drought was lifted this summer, i hope we are good for G14! and G15!
