This is my first gathering and I'm bringing my 9 yr old son. We are registered to do the GMMG tour Fri, Show Sat. and Cruise on Sunday. I'm looking to see what will be going on after hours. I understand that afterhours stuff may get a little rowdy for a 9 yr old and was considering a Braves game or other outing in the evenings. What else will be going on in the evenings? I don't want to miss out on anything either but do have to have to protect his naive mind.
There is always the aquarium. Mountasia is about 20mins away, they have putt-putt, go-carts etc. i think friday and sunday he would be ok for movie night in the parking lot (smokey and the bandit is unedited, tho). Come by the registration office for directions or other idears.
also there is a indoor/ outdoor pool on site ..
I figure I could count on the pool on Saturday and I liked the idea of the movie on Friday. I may get Braves tickets for Sat. night and Sun. we will be on the way back. The movie is held in the parking lot on Fri/Sun?

You could bring their Play Station or XBox (assuming they have one) Buy a couple of new games and hook it up in the room. Id call first and make sure you can.
I thought the rooms already had games of some type? They have some kind of controlers by the T.V.'s but it cost to use them I believe.
I have not spent enough time in my room to notice.
He will have his DS for sure. I'm actually looking for things more in the evenings than anything. If I was just with the guys I would join you guys and ham it up. Since I have him with me which will be a great trip for both of us I am looking for evening time alternatives.
I think there is a Dave and Busters near by. You have the Stone Mountain Park laser show. I dont know what time the big fish tank closes.
Isn't there a Fuddruckers nearby?
The Stone Mtn. Laser show is pretty cool. I saw that way back when the USCC was still in operation.
