Anyone that will be attending this year have enough knowledge with hptuners to show me some pointers for a part throttle tune? Its got a solid wot tune but it doesnt see wot that often... I installed a wideband and will have it piggybacked into the pcm by the event so i can datalog with hptuners. Also, I've been trying to get my tuner to send me a nitrous tune for the 150 shot, but its been months now so I'm gonna attempt to play with it on the dyno, but not unless someone else can help me add fuel to the tables, I know its getting lean up top and dont trust myself to tune it on the bottle yet.

Have you already HPT? I have unlimited for '01 (as well as pretty much every other LSx 4th gen) so either way, we have ya covered.

yeah i've got 01 unlimited, hopefully we can get this thing tuned for the bottle, the only supporting mods i have is the fuel pump and bottle heater. But I havn't put the 150 jets in since i ran the 10.6 cause i popped the head gaskets, they werent mls but still. I've got forged pistons so not too worried about it, just want a safe tune. I've been killing the street class at the local track this yr running consistent 7.0's on the 100 shot, and i've been itching for 6 months now to feel the g forces from the 150 again, with my new wheel tire set up its pullin the wheels on the baby shot so I'm curious to see what it does on the 150. Also my buddy just put a monster ms4 or trex cam in his ss but he wont even race it anymore cause of the tune, hes gonna b there so maybe we can check his tune out and see what the problem is. I havnt seen him since he had it installed or i'd check it out, but it'd be good to have some people that are more knowledgable with the software to take a look @ it.
I'm gettin even more excited now...haha

You might want to check with the dyno place first. I don't know hows it been the past few years, but it used to be that you got on and did 3 quick passes. They had a lot of cars to do and having someone playing around with tuning was just holding up the line. I could be wrong now but if thats still the case maybe see if they'll let you play around if you go last.

I dunno, Captain Morgan has tuned about 250 cars so far, seems to work out.
