Tried to book my room last night via the web and group code, but it wouldn't take it. So, I called the hotel directly and the guy told me they were booked up for all the rooms set aside for the group rate.

Luckily, he was able to give me a good deal for two nights, but the third night would be higher (if we decide to stay the third night).

Anyways, anyone else run into this, or by chance did I screw something up (not impossible )? Guess that's what I get for waiting to book a room.

Well crap... I haven't booked my room yet, and if I can't get the group rate, then I can't afford to come. In fact, I'm not even sure that I can afford to come as it is. For now I'm pretty sure the car is NOT coming, but I was hoping to.

Send a PM to Andy see if he can take care of it and add more rooms I think we booked up 3 extra rooms for club members i will see if they are coming or not they were on the fence if they want to drop i will PM you and we can give you those rooms (Thursday-Sunday night)

Let's hope so, I got my email confirmation and the projected chrges are nearly $700. LOL!

That because i told them that when you call, add 2 extra rooms for 3 nights. "Beverage storage" ya know! Nice of you to pick up the tab for that!!

i jstu called the Hotel 5 mni ago and ran into the same thing. so we can just go ahead and book at the current rate, and it will be all good come show time? just want to confirm this before i call teh hotel back. thanks

We only block off so many rooms otherwise Gathering as to pay for any rooms not booked. I will have Chad call Andy tommorrow and have him open another block of rooms. We still to book our room and we have a few friends coming Saturday that still need rooms.
It will all work out unless you guys make this the biggest Gathering ever and there is not enough rooms.

sounds good. ill check here daily, and as soon as the block is opened, ill be booking! already registered for the show. cant wait!
