If you have been following along in my "resurrection" thread you know that I have been pumping money like a madman into getting the T/A ready for G13. As it is, it was gonna be with a wounded 12 bolt. Now, Just last night, the wife's DD(04 Yukon) crapped out the transmission! So now I am Crying at my G13 money going down the drain! We have 5 boys, and getting the Yukon back on the road has swiftly became the priority. The wife says screw the Yukon- we are going to G13, (You gotta Heart Her!), but I can't be like that. Trying to Thinking of a way to still pull it off. Anyone need a kidney, or appendix? I offer my Liver- but I am gonna need it while we are in ATL.

I am going to look into my 401k- maybe loan myself some money...I don't know.....this sux.
Oh hell no! I am with your wife!!
Seriously...Lets let Travass pipe in, he has all sorts of crap!
Hate to hear it, Lee. What does your wife plan to bring, the Vette? Wish I could help, but my finances are shot ATM.
LOL I hear that Patrick. We were planning to drive both the T/A and the Vette. Then as I realized that the Trans Am wouldn't have time to get the rear end fixed, the plan went back to trailering the T/A with the YUKon. So that is another reason the YUKon has to get fixed- I need my tow vehicle! Otherwise- I'll have thrashed on the T/A for nothing, and be leaving it at the house, and just riding up in the vette for the show.

That is sort of my last chance scenario- Driving up Friday and leaving on Sunday in the Vette.(as opposed to thursday thru monday like normal)
DAMN THAT SUX!!!!Angry LMK if I can help ya,removing/replacing trans, picking up and delivering trans and or partsCoolman

holla

Who you havin to fix it?
A local shop(Escambia Treansmissions). He is high- but stands behind his work. If it were my vehicle, I'd go the cheapest route possible- but not on vehicles that transport my kids. You don't realize how inportant a reliable ride is until something like this happens. Joey(the owner) used to work at the same shop as my dad and I way back when I was 20. He's since then done pretty much all our vehicles. Also due to knowing me that well- he will usually help me at by letting me pay him off over a few months.
