I am wondering if there is any value to putting my bird on the Dyno at the Gathering. The argument to not Dyno the car is that it is a completely stock orignal car with 28K on the clock. Why put unecessary wear and tear on a car that I am trying to preserve. The argument to Dyno the car, is that it will be interesting to see what kind of horse power and torque it actually makes. Since it has little wear, and no modifications, it should be running very close to what it did when it was new. Here is a discription of the car. Tell me what you all think... Idea

1986 Pontiac Trans Am WS6, 5.0 TPI, 700R4, 3:27 Borg Warner.
I say do it, who cares- It's fun. Smile
i say 160rwhp, 170 torque....
I thought about doing the same with my o'l 79.. but I'm shure I would be depressed.. lol.. it is stock but has been dialed in a good bit.. How much is it to dyno anyways?
It was $50 a couple of years ago.

Bill
$50 last year as well
If ya'll will, I will... Wink Bring yer earplugs. Wink
got my 1/2 a c-note ready Travis ... lets do this
I want in on the noise making at the Dyno.
You all talked me into it. We will see what the old stock bird has or doesn't have under the hood. I wonder if they will also Dyno my Super Duty tow vehicle, or if it is restricted to F-bodies. I have always wanted to know what that 7.3 diesel is putting to the pavement. I know, you all probably hate Fords... At least it's not a ricer...
